Once in a while, our big kids come home. YIPPEE!!

Staff with our University Students

Nothing gives us more pride than getting visits from our “big kids,” the ones who have completed secondary school and successfully entered university. It makes up pat ourselves on the back for having done a good job because we know that they will one day come back and help us develop our communities. Here, our Staff, (L-R), John, Faith and Mutune, bond with two of our university students, Mutie Wambua and Ndangili Ndunge.

Mutie joined 2012, in Moi University 4th Year where is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Education. We first heard about him and stepped in when we were approached by his family as they could not raise the required tuition for his education. And we thank God that we did. Far from when we started supporting him in Form 1 at Kyamboo Secondary School, Mutie is one of our shining lights.

Ndangili, on the other hand, has been with us since his days in Ngai Primary School in Makueni County. We have walked the long journey with him through Mukaa Secondary School where he excelled and are ecstatic about his progress at Karatina University in Nyeri. A talented musician on the side, Ndangili is currently doing a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
